Overview

Product Manager

We are looking for an experienced, strategic leader and visionary Product Manager with a strong business development background. Reporting to the VP of Product Management, you will part of the team who defines and brings to market critical GNSS anti-jam antenna technology and products for use in a wide range of positioning, navigation, timing and communication applications.

This position is with Hexagon's Autonomy & Positioning division, a global technology leader, pioneering end-to-end solutions industry leaders rely on for assured positioning and autonomy on land, sea and air. Our work touches every aspect of life, from sustainability on Earth to enabling autonomy. Within the Autonomy & Positioning division, your work will contribute to the operation of our Antcom and NovAtel brands.

The Location: Hexagon is a global company with locations around the world. This position is based in Torrance, California or Calgary, Canada.

Responsibilities

As Product Manager, you will be responsible for:

    Long term vision, strategy and multi generation road-map for existing and new applications and customers.
  • Working closely with the sales team to develop GNSS anti-jam product solutions based on customer requirements.
  • Contributing to the anti-jam portfolio strategy, maximizing the value proposition of the product like across numerous markets.
  • Creation and evaluation of business plan and market requirement documents to achieve portfolio financial targets.
  • Owning the anti-jam portfolio strategy and road-maps and responsible for presenting business cases in front of executive leaders.
  • Acting as the representative of the end-user for road-map definition within the company.
  • Defining requirements including use cases for new anti-jam products and technologies.
  • Working with cross-functional teams to develop and bring to the market the most innovative anti-jam portfolio.
  • "Go to market" strategy and marketing message for product marketing collateral.
  • Gathering the information and get agreements among company stakeholder for business models, product positioning and pricing strategy.
  • Analyzing and reporting key portfolio KPIs to steer business decisions.
  • Evaluating competitive products and technology trends.
  • The success of new product launches.
  • National and international customer visits to understand customer challenges and future needs.
  • Representing Hexagon's Autonomy & Positioning division at trade-shows and conferences.

Key Metrics:

  • Financial growth and profitability of the anti-jam portfolio
  • Successful and sustainable strategy in short, medium and long term across all the markets
  • Accurate business case and market needs assessments for new products
  • Successful customer adoption of new products
Qualifications

Must-Have:

  • Degree in Business, Engineering or related technical field
  • 2 years of product management and/or business development experience, preferably with an antenna and/or GNSS focus
  • Applicants for select positions that require access to information controlled by the International Traffic in Arms Regulations ("ITAR") or the Export Administration Regulations ("EAR") must be US Persons per ITAR *120.15 and EAR *772.1 (i.e., a U.S. citizen, U.S. permanent resident, or admitted to the U.S. as an asylee or refugee), or be otherwise eligible to obtain required authorization from the U.S. Government to access controlled information. Employment is contingent upon Antcom's ability to obtain such required authorization for the applicant

Compensation & Benefits

Hexagon's Autonomy & Positioning division provides the following compensation range and a general description of other compensation and benefits. This compensation range is based on a full-time schedule. The Company reserves the right to pay more or less than the posted range or offer other compensation depending on circumstances not related to an applicant's sex or other status protected by local, state or federal law. Our benefits and bonus plans are reviewed annually and are subject to change at the company's discretion.

Hiring Salary Range for California: $83,000 - $132,900 USD per annum

Bonus Eligibility: We offer a company profit share and individual incentive-based bonus programs.

Benefits: We offer a comprehensive benefit plan that includes Medical, Dental, Vision, Life, Disability, Paid Time Off, Paid Parental Leave and a generous 401(k) company match.We also provide tax savings plans for health, dependent care and commuter expenses.
