Job Description

Our delivery team drives our company trucks over an established route to deliver products in a safe and efficient manner. Driver must unload product for each customer on route and safely bring products into establishment. The Delivery Driver is the face of the company and must project a professional and positive image of the company at all times, all while maintaining and building excellent client and customer relationships.

Duties

Delivery Driver Responsibilities:

• Drive to and deliver customer orders to meet scheduled customer times and maintain an adequate productivity rate to meet delivery schedules
• Unload products from truck with a hand cart or by hand and place items in designated storage area
• Verify delivery of correct item with customer and invoice, and obtain proper signatures
• Collect Money (Cash or Checks) where required and note the type of payment and amount collected
• Provide a positive and friendly customer interaction
• Use a tablet to navigate and update routing system on a stop by stop basis, record lunch times
• Verifies, take pictures, and records product that is returned by customers
• Pick up and receive backhauls when schedules
• Keep a clean and safe working environment
• Able to perform repeated manual heavy lifting of items up to 100 pounds or more
• Make frequent stops during your shift along an established route
• Drive and work in inclement weather conditions including fog, snow, ice, rain, and excessive heat and cold temperatures
• Interact with customers and responds to general questions regarding the company
• Communicates all necessary concerns when found
• Complies with company policies and procedures
• Ensures load is stable and secured at all times and rear door is closed when needed
• Reads and responds to necessary emails or chats
• Maintains effective working relationships with employees and customers
• Completes daily end of shift communication form
• Participates in company meetings and training
• Assist with special projects as needed
• Perform other tasks as needed
• Promote a positive and professional attitude within the company
• Must be able to meet company goals and objectives

Shift hours range from 5:30am to 6:00pm Monday through Friday

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $18.00 - $19.00 per hour

Expected hours: 30 – 40 per week
