Bel Villaggio Eye Care is Hiring an Optician Near Temecula, CA

Job Summary:

We are seeking a new Optician to join our team. As an Optician, you will be responsible for assisting customers in selecting and fitting eyewear, providing exceptional customer service, and ensuring accurate prescription fulfillment. Your experience in sales and knowledge of various eyewear products will contribute to the overall success of our practice.

Responsibilities:

- Assist customers in selecting appropriate eyewear based on their prescription, lifestyle, and budget

- Take accurate measurements for eyeglasses

- Adjust frames to ensure proper fit and comfort for customers

- Educate customers on lens options, coatings, and treatments

- Process orders for eyewear

- Maintain accurate records of customer prescriptions and orders

- Collaborate with the optometrist to ensure accurate prescription fulfillment

- Provide exceptional customer service throughout the entire sales process

- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and new eyewear products

Preferred Experience:

- Previous experience as an Optician or in a similar role preferred

- Knowledge of HIPAA regulations and compliance

- Familiarity with laboratory procedures related to eyewear production

- Proficiency in using optical software systems (e.g., Crystal)

- Strong retail sales skills with a focus on customer satisfaction

- Understanding of medical terminology, physiology, and medical coding related to optometry
