- Review and analyze blueprints and specifications relative to the schedule and scope of work.
- Coordinate and manage construction projects and associated paperwork.
- Utilize PlanSwift estimating software to generate takeoffs and estimates.
- Communicate directly with the customer in a timely, professional manner.
- Extensive PlanSwift (primary estimating software) knowledge and experience
- Ability to perform framing material takeoffs using PlanSwift on large scale, wood framed multi-family buildings
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, with high expertise in Excel
- 1-3 years of estimating experience is preferred
WORK ENVIRONMENT:This position is in a busy office environment and is faced with constant interruptions on a regular basis. There is low to moderate exposure to common office sounds such as ringing phones, talking, printers, copy machines and fax machines.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS:This position involves frequent sitting, use of hands and reaching with hands and arms. Rarely this position stands.
This position has a uniform policy that requires that all associates are clean shaven daily.
Position Type/Expected Hours of Work:This is a full-time position. Hours of work depend on hours of operations. Must be willing to work 48 hours per week.
TRAVEL:Limited travel is expected for this position.
