As a Credit and Collections Analyst you will be responsible for the collections of our customer accounts, performing credit analysis, making credit recommendations and reconciliation of assigned accounts.

You will build strong relationships with our internal salesforce to better engage with customer's and provide an exceptional customer experience.

The ideal candidate will be deadline driven, highly organized and a detailed problem solver that thrives in a team environment.

The hourly pay range for this position, based out of Syracuse, NY, is $21.15 - $26.26. The actual hourly rate offered will vary based on applicant’s relevant skills, education, experience, certifications and geographic location as well as other business and organizational needs.

What you'll be doing :

• Protect the company's profitability through credit decisions and collection of delinquent accounts.
• Back up for maintaining electronic / web- based billing sites.
• Respond to general internal and external customer inquiries.
• Provide analysis of credit reports and credit applications.
• Serve as back up for creation of manual invoices and for online invoicing of customers.
• Collection of past due receivables.
• Reconcile customer accounts.
• Evaluate customer payment history to determine future credit extension.
• Additional responsibilities as requested.

What we're looking for :

• Associate degree in Accounting or equivalent experience.
• Ability to organize and manage multiple priorities, while demonstrating strong attention to detail and appreciation of deadlines is essential.
• Outstanding communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Ability to "think on your feet" in a fast paced, dynamic work environment.
• Demonstrate strong analytical, problem solving and decision-making skills.
• Exhibit strong teamwork and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively with team members / departments throughout the organization.
• Strong customer orientation.
• Proficient in MS Office.
• Oracle experience preferred.
