Scope/Job Summary Applies expertise in professional area to achieve results. Responsible for a broad number of duties in HR including but not limited to, staffing, total rewards, new hire orientation, training, and employee relations. Provides guidance on human resources operational issues, employment law, and develops new programs and initiatives to meet management needs. Answers routine questions related to Human Resources and interprets policy where clear-cut procedures and rules exist. Partners with management teams to facilitate the delivery of HR services as appropriate. Job Knowledge and Complexity Administers HR processes. Understands the business, financials, products/services, and the capability needs of management and employees. Understands how HR contributes to the larger organization and the impact on the business strategy. Responsibilities Partners with employees and managers on Human Resources issues. Updates and maintains HR processes, using appropriate techniques. Supports the HR department with recruitment, onboarding, temporary employee administration, Environmental Health & Safety, employee communication, total rewards, payroll, and other HR related activities. Serve as contact for employees and answers questions regarding HR policies and procedures. Contributes to local and/or regional HR projects. Supervision Does not lead a team. Education and Experience Vocational or Bachelors’ degree in a relevant field of education. Minimum 2 years of relevant experience.
