Practical Information:
Location: Sydney, Australia |Reports to Head of Language Technologies | Visa Requirements: Valid working Visa for Australia | Language Requirements: English, written and spoken
As our new Data Scientist your primary goal is to develop and validate traditional/generative AI models that drive business value. In this role, you will be supporting our Solution Architects in conceptualizing viable AI solutions for our customers across the APAC region. Additionally, you will collaborate with our highly skilled Data and Software Engineers to ensure the delivery of high-quality, production-grade AI solutions.
Other responsibilities will include:
- Cleaning and analyzing data from diverse streams of structured and unstructured data
- Writing elegant machine learning and data processing code in Python
- Building quick prototypes and proof of concepts for business requirements
- Validating both the technical performance and the business value of the developed AI solutions
- Writing production-grade Python code for deploying the developed AI models together with our engineering team
Your Competencies
- Professional experience in analyzing, exploring, building, and validating AI models
- Theoretical understanding of the mathematics behind specific AI algorithms
- Highly proficient in one or more of the following ML frameworks: scikit-learn, TensorFlow, Keras, PyTorch
- Fluency in Python

- Effective communication skills, comfortable in customer facing situations and demonstrating a solution-oriented mindset
