This role will ensure the smooth operation of the LAN/WAN network infrastructure in Americas Shared Service office locations.

The IT Analyst will optimize the network infrastructure in terms of technology, performance and costs; project coordination and collaboration in international ASMPT infrastructure projects, as well as ensuring that network security is maintained to a high standard and governance models adhere to.

Main Responsibilities:

• Provide 1st and 2nd line support at the home office location, when required.
• Assist with remote and on-premises staff to ensure they are provided a high level of IT service.
• Plan, design, install, configure, administrate, further developing the local network infrastructure.
• Analyze and troubleshoot hardware/software faults, as well as monitor & supervise the entire network operation, both LAN & Wi-Fi systems.
• Work with various project teams to implement changes around network technologies and upgrade in alignment with company strategy.
• Operate as part of a wider IT organization both w/ the Americas IT shared services team and the wider IT infrastructure group within the SMT business unit and the wider ASPMT group.

Qualifications:

• Experience & knowledge of layer 2 & 3 technologies.
• Project management, switching, routing and firewall technologies.
• Automation/scripting in the area of IT networks
• Experience with Wi-Fi systems, cloud, and SD-wan technologies.
• Completed vocational training in IT.
• Extensive professional experience in the IT infrastructure sector with a focus on network technology.
• Experience with project coordination in the IT infrastructure sector and experience in working with international teams.
• Bachelor's degree required.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $85,000.00 - $95,000.00 per year
