Overview:

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Product Line Manager to join our dynamic team. As a Product Line Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the development, marketing, and profitability of a specific product line within our company. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure the successful execution of product strategies and drive the growth of the product line in the market.

Duties & Responsibilities:

Develop and execute product line strategies aligned with the company's overall goals and objectives.

  • Conduct market research and analyze customer needs and preferences to identify potential product opportunities and gaps in the market.
  • Manage the entire product lifecycle from ideation, development, and launch to ongoing support and eventual retirement of the product.
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to develop effective product positioning, messaging, and go-to-market strategies.
  • Monitor and analyze market trends, competitor activities, and customer feedback to make data-driven decisions for the product line.
  • Define and achieve key performance indicators (KPIs) such as revenue targets, market share, and profitability for the product line.
  • Conduct pricing analysis and develop pricing strategies to maximize profitability while remaining competitive in the market.
  • Establish and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including sales, customer support, and supply chain teams, to ensure smooth product adoption and customer satisfaction.
  • Collaborate with the finance team to develop and manage budgets for the product line.
  • Stay informed about industry trends and technological advancements to ensure the product line remains innovative and relevant.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Proven experience (5 years) in product management, preferably in a similar industry or product category.
  • Demonstrated ability to drive product growth and meet business objectives.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with a data-driven approach to decision-making.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
  • Proficiency in using market research and analytics tools.
  • Ability to adapt to a fast-paced and evolving work environment.
  • A passion for innovation and a customer-centric mindset.
  • Proficient with using MS Excel & Power BI.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Previous experience as a Product Line Manager or similar role in the Consumer Electronic industry.
  • Experience with new product introductions and product portfolio management.
  • Knowledge of project management methodologies.
  • Bilingual in Chinese (Mandarin) is a plus.
