- Accounts Payable: enter vendor invoices in a timely and accurate manner, 3-way matching required for most of the A/P invoices.
- Code invoices require knowledge in determining proper classification of accounting codes.
- Reconcile and process credit card statements.
- Obtain W-9 forms and setup new vendor in the accounting system
- Reconcile and process credit card statements.
- Correspond with vendors and respond to inquiries.
- Accounts Receivable: process daily invoices, review customer purchase order for proper invoicing including S&U taxes, send out invoices to the customers, follow-up on outstanding invoices, etc.
- Create packing slips for customer shipments, assist with creating shipping labels.
- Gather timecards from hourly employee and update payroll log.
- Office administrator duties: answer phone, get mail, order office supplies, order lunches when requested, etc
- Perform other related duties and participate in special projects as assigned
- Excellent data entry skills
- Excellent communication skills and interpersonal skills
- Demonstrated ability to work in a team environment
- Ability to multi-task and attention to detail are critical
- Associate degree preferred but not required
- 3 years accounts payable experience required
- Some account receivable experience preferred but not required
- Experienced with 3-way matching
- Basic accounting knowledge
- Knowledgeable in Microsoft Outlook, Word and Excel
