Teacher's Assistant
Available Shifts
- $14.50 per hour
- Available shifts:
- Floater/Breaker (All classrooms)
- Assigned shift: = Approximately 24 hrs per week working every Mon 6:30 am-3 pm/ Tues 9 am-6 pm / Fri 8 am-4 pm
- On-Call As Needed
- (Requires availability to cover shifts between 6:30 am-6 pm with 1 hour notice)
- No Evenings or Weekends
- Working in coordination with the Lead Teacher to present developmentally appropriate activities that will assist each child in developing to their fullest potential and to support and respect the family diversity of each child.
- Provide a safe, warm, nurturing environment in which each child can grow physically, emotionally, socially, and intellectually.
- Will be assigned to work in various classrooms based on business needs.
- Able to reliably commute or plan to relocate to the Peoria/Sun City/Surprise, AZ area before starting work. (No Relocation Assistance)
- Pursuing or have received HS Diploma/GED Equivalent,
- Prefer 1 year of experience teaching in early care & education classrooms.
- Willing to complete 30 hours of early childhood development assigned training.
- Possess or able to receive. Fingerprint Clearance Card, *Pediatric CPR, *Negative TB/Chest X-Ray, *Article 9 Certification, *Food Handler’s Certification (*Benevilla will assist with the costs to obtain these).
