A growing travel agency specializing in corporate travel arrangements is seeking a Corporate Travel Agent to join their team in Summit, NJ! They are looking for candidates with at least 5 years of experience, specifically booking airline, hotels and car reservations for corporate travel and are proficient in SABRE, Apollo or Amadeus booking systems.

Salary Range : $50, 000 - $65, 000 / year DOE

Corporate Travel Agent Requirements :

• Minimum of 5 years of experience as a travel agent, with specific experience in corporate travel
• Proficiency with SABRE booking system (experience with Apollo or Amadeus is also acceptable)
• Tech-savvy with the ability to quickly learn and utilize new systems
• Excellent customer service and communication skills
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
• Positive attitude and ability to handle pressure and unexpected circumstances
• Must live within a 30-minute drive to Summit, NJ office
• Bachelor s Degree is preferred
• Willingness to occasionally take calls from home to accommodate clients in different time zones

Corporate Travel Agent Responsibilities :

• Handle corporate travel arrangements for clients, including air, hotel, and car reservations
• Manage relationships with Travel Management Companies and corporate clients
• Provide excellent customer service, resolving any travel-related issues or challenges
• Utilize SABRE booking system to make and manage reservations
• Coordinate travel arrangements for group events through third-party event planners
• Maintain a high volume of monthly reservations, aiming for 300 reservations per month
• Collaborate with team members to ensure seamless travel arrangements
• Respond to after-hours inquiries as needed, utilizing the after-hours answering service
