Quality Assurance Technician
The ideal candidate finds joy in producing fresh products and giving outstanding service to accompany our delicious products
Required Hours: Night Shift
Responsibilities
- Conducts inspections/ quality checks during production, as product moved through the manufacturing process, and at the end of each day. Will spend a substantial amount of time on production floor
- Obtain customer samples during production
- Monitor HACCP control points
- Complete required documentation for job duties
- Helps to monitor production employees to ensure proper sanitation requirements are being met.
- Ongoing issues need to be reported to Quality Manager
- Assists QA Senior Tech with incoming and outgoing shipment if needed
- Maintain accurate and organized records
- Maintains accurate and organized records.
- Maintains ongoing company compliance with all applicable regulations
- Cross trained in all QA duties
- Performs other related duties as assigned.
Qualification
- High School Diploma/ GED or Equivalent Experience
- 1 year of experience in quality assurance and/ or food production environment
- Ability to multitask, prioritize, and manage time efficiently.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Mechanical ability with attention to detail
Physical Requirements/ Working Conditions
- Ability to lift 50 pounds
- Ability to frequently kneel, squat, bend, and stoop
- Ability to twist, kneel, and reach overhead occasionally
- Specific vision abilities required include close vision, distance vision and ability to adjust focus
- Ability to stand; walk; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms; stoop, kneel, crouch, squat, bend, or crawl
