Job Summary:
The Tepedino Restaurant Group is seeking a dedicated Fine Dining Server to join our upscale restaurant team at Garlic Restaurant & Bar. The ideal candidate will provide exceptional service to our guests, ensuring an unforgettable dining experience.
Responsibilities:
- Greet guests warmly and assist in seating them
- Present menus and provide detailed information when asked
- Take and serve food and beverage orders promptly and accurately
- Collaborate with the kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of meals
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of dining areas
- Handle guest inquiries and resolve any issues promptly
- Process payments and operate cash registers with precision
Skills:
- Proficient in basic math for order taking and bill processing
- Experience in cash handling and operating a cash register
- Familiarity with reservation systems like OpenTable is a plus
- Knowledge of culinary terms and dishes to assist guests in making selections
- Strong guest relations skills to provide personalized service
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced kitchen and restaurant environment
- Experience in bussing tables efficiently
