Job Overview:

The Tepedino Restaurant Group is seeking skilled Bartenders to join our team at Garlic Restaurant and Bar. The ideal candidate for this upscale establishment will have a passion for creating exceptional drinks and providing outstanding customer service. Hourly pay is between $5-$10 depending on experience, plus tips.

Responsibilities:

- Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages following company recipes
- Interact with customers, take orders, and provide recommendations
- Maintain cleanliness of the bar area and equipment
- Check customers' identification and confirm legal drinking age
- Handle cash transactions and operate the cash register
- Upsell additional products when appropriate
- Monitor customer intake to prevent overconsumption and ensure safety

Skills:

- Bartending experience preferred
- Strong customer service skills
- Knowledge of retail math for handling payments and making change
- Sales skills to promote specials and increase revenue
- Familiarity with the food industry to pair drinks with menu items
- Ability to work well in a team environment
- Experience with banquet or event bartending is a plus
- Proficient in cash handling procedures
- Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently
- Basic math skills for measuring ingredients and calculating bill

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $5.00 - $10.00 per hour
