Job DescriptionStroudsmoor Country Inn is seeking dedicated and experienced Banquet Servers to join our team. As a Banquet Server, you will play a vital role in delivering exceptional service and creating memorable experiences for our guests during weddings, corporate events, and other special occasions. This position requires availability on weekends and holidays.
Responsibilities
- Set up banquet rooms according to event specifications, including table settings, decorations, and equipment.
- Greet guests upon arrival and provide excellent customer service throughout the event.
- Serve food and beverages in a professional and efficient manner, following established serving protocols.
- Monitor guest needs and promptly respond to requests or concerns.
- Clear tables and maintain cleanliness in the banquet area throughout the event.
- Work closely with the kitchen and event planning staff to ensure smooth execution of events.
- Adhere to all safety and sanitation protocols, including proper handling of food and beverages.
- Assist with event breakdown and cleanup tasks as needed.
- Maintain a positive attitude and professional appearance at all times.
- Collaborate with team members to provide a seamless and enjoyable experience for guests.
- Previous experience as a banquet server or in a similar hospitality role preferred.
- Strong customer service skills with a friendly and approachable demeanor.
- Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high standards of quality.
- Flexible schedule with availability to work weekends and holidays.
- Must be able to stand and walk for extended periods and lift up to 25 pounds.
