What's your day like?
As the Engagement Coordinator at Ferguson Township, you will play a pivotal role as the welcoming face of the organization, ensuring that residents, and visitors feel valued and heard.
You will have the exciting opportunity to spearhead the planning and execution of various engaging events that foster strong connections among employees.
Additionally, your support in providing clerical assistance to different Township departments will be instrumental in maintaining smooth operations.
Work hours are 8 a.m. until 5 p.m., Monday through Thursday (one-hour lunch), and 8 a.m. until 4 p.m. on Fridays with 1 / 2-hour lunch.
Would you be a great Engagement Coordinator?
To excel as the Engagement Coordinator at Ferguson Township, candidates should possess a high school diploma or equivalent;
a degree in hospitality management or public relations would be helpful. Previous experience in roles such as receptionist or front office representative is beneficial, along with a track record of successfully scheduling meetings and events while coordinating multiple staff calendars.
Proficiency in the Microsoft Office Suite and familiarity with office equipment are essential. Experience with planning and executing events is a plus, as is the ability to schedule virtual meetings.
A valid Pennsylvania driver's license is also required for this role.
