Overview:
We are seeking a detail-oriented Eligibility Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in the processing of Medicaid Applications
Responsibilities:
- Review and verify applicant documentation
- Process Medicaid Applications with the states of MO, KS, IA
- Communicate with families concerning collection of state required documents
- Communicate with state offices concerning the status of existing applications
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records in compliance with regulations
- Collaborate with medical office staff to coordinate facilitation of the application
Experience:
- Previous experience with Medicaid applications is required
- Proficiency in medical terminology is a plus
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
