Litigation law firm seeking associate attorney with a minimum of 5 years experience in Texas state court litigation with a background in construction, real estate and commercial litigation as well as real estate transactions and construction law matters and first party insurance claims. Candidate will work as client, court and counsel point of contact and be responsible for all aspects of matters assigned whether for litigation, such as drafting pleadings, motions and briefs, discovery and depositions, attending and arguing matters at hearings and trial. Candidate will also be assigned tasks such as drafting real estate and construction transaction documents and negotiating same. Must have hands-on experience, strong research and writing skills, and deposition, hearing and trial experience. Seeking a self-starter who can work both independently and contribute to a team. Looking for the attorney who loves the practice of law. Will consider location flexibility to work both at home or office.
Desired Skills & Experience:
Candidate will receive client marketing assistance and be able to share in new client origination fees as agreed with the Firm. The Firm will also consider joint venturing cases and partnership arrangements.
