  • Regularly update contract templates and playbooks to reflect current law and a risk approach that aligns with the business’ overall risk profile.
  • Ensure compliance with all applicable regulatory requirements by monitoring changes in relevant laws and regulations, advising business lines on potential impacts.
  • Collaborating closely with HR on labor and employment issues.
  • Guide business units through critical transactions.
  • Ensure consistent regulatory compliance across all business units.
  • Provide general legal leadership and support, including legal research and analysis, policy guidance, monitoring and optimization of company risk, and empowering the business to creatively achieve its objectives with a total commitment to integrity and compliance.
  • Work collaboratively within cross-functional teams and across other departments, including Finance and Accounting, Business Development, Supply Chain, Operations, Marketing and Communications, Missions, and IT/Digital.

  • Proficiency in applying legal insights to complex decisions in RTI's dynamic, fast-paced environment.
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills, adept at building relationships and effectively serving diverse internal clients with charisma, kindness, and emotional intelligence.
  • Resilient. Able to balance professionalism with a sense of humor, even under pressure.
  • A demonstrated commitment to continual learning – in life, beyond annual required CLEs.

Additional or Preferred Qualifications
