Revamp Panels, LLC is seeking an experienced Project Manager/Estimator to join our team. Principal Estimator responsibilities include reviewing project drawings and specifications, preparing take-offs, cost estimates, and quotations. In the Program Manager role, you will manage Request for Quote (RFQ), New Product Introduction (NPI), for all assigned programs. Administer contracts, manage cross-functional launch teams, and maintain action item lists and NPI checklists. Assess critical areas of concern and recommend steps to resolve problems.

Qualifications/Experience

  • Associate or bachelor’s degree in construction management, engineering, building science and/or equivalent and related industry experience.
  • Minimum 3-5 years of experience as a project manager preferred.
  • Knowledge of cost accounting and proficiency in managing to timelines
  • Ability to operate a computer and be proficient with Microsoft Word, Excel, and Bluebeam.
  • Ability to clearly communicate and document communications both verbally and in written form.
  • Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from small groups of managers, engineers, clients, and customers.
  • Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.
  • Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables.
  • Must possess a fundamental understanding of the business practice from the sales process through production.
  • Passion as a team player promoting development of self and others.

Essential Functions

  • Manages multiple quotes and the Request for Quote (RFQ) process with a fundamental understanding of the customer’s business needs and our sales process.
  • Review project drawings and specifications to prepare accurate cost estimates and quotations, including detailed cost breakdowns. Utilizes a conceptual understanding of incremental margin, fixed/variable cost, absorption, and departmental rate determination.
  • Coordinate with suppliers to obtain quotes for materials and services. Understanding their cost structure, equipment capabilities and limitations, strengths, and weaknesses.
  • Administer customer contracts, Simple PO’s, change orders, and schedules.
  • Maintain action item lists and NPI checklists. Manage shop drawings process through design, customer approval, and fabrication.
  • Manage change orders, including impact to budget and schedule.
  • Communicate status of project schedule with customer and prepare status reports for leadership team.
  • Manage customer expectations and address customer questions, concerns, and comments, including conflict and crisis management. Recommends steps to resolve problems.
  • Complete projects on schedule and within budget.
  • Coordinate professional photos of completed projects.
