GI ALLIANCE is Hiring a Physician Compensation Analyst Near Southlake, TX

GI Alliance is seeking a Physician Compensation Analyst.

Duties of this position include, but are not limited to, the following:


Position purpose

Execute physician compensation models and provide support to the physician compensation team, operations stakeholders, and physicians related to physicians’ compensation and financial performance. Support and implement process improvements that improve and enhance the physician compensation experience for key stakeholders.

Responsibilities/Duties/Functions/Tasks:

Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.

  • Manages monthly and quarterly compensation modeling to deliver accurate, compliant, and timely pay for physicians.
  • Maintains and ensures physician compensation is administered in accordance with physician contracts, management service agreements, and regulatory requirements.
  • Manages physician compensation inbox and updates changes within internal systems (access database, Smartsheet, etc.).
  • Assists in development of compensation policies, procedures, and processes.
  • Serves as a point of contact and provides information and resources to develop solutions for compensation-related inquiries and issues.
  • Provides ad hoc data analysis and analytical support for internal stakeholders.
  • Oversees a physician support service desk including managing tickets and ensuring that all inquiries are answered in a timely and professional manner.
  • Supports Power BI administration including maintenance of security protocols, user access, data load, quality assurance review, test scripts.
  • Builds and presents training resources to educate end users with questions regarding Power BI reports and physician compensation.
  • Perform other duties as assigned

Qualifications

EDUCATION: Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business, Accounting, or related field required.

EXPERIENCE:

  • Two to Five (2-5) years’ experience in a healthcare-related industry.
  • Two to Five (2-5) years’ combined experience in an FP&A, Accounting, analytics, customer service, and/ or administrative focused roles.
  • Experience with physicians services consulting in a multi-location physician’s practice is preferred.
  • Experience in physician compensation preferred.

Performance Requirements:

  • Solid understanding of finance and accounting.
  • Effective presentation, interpersonal, and communication skills, and the ability to effectively interface and build relationships with various departments.
  • Strong Microsoft Office Suite proficiency, including an intermediate knowledge of Excel and ability to create Powerpoint presentations and word documents.
  • Ability to effectively elicit / provide information to and from appropriate individuals (including, but not limited to, supervisors, co-workers) via strong communication skills.
  • Ability to effectively prioritize and handle multiple tasks.
  • Ability to maintain the highest level of confidentiality.
  • Process orientation with the ability to put plans into action.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Collaborative style with the ability to communicate clearly and precisely on technical and operational issues, both verbally and in writing.
  • Comfortable interacting and collaborating with stakeholders throughout the organization.
  • Ability to work with a high degree of autonomy as well as part of team.

Equipment Operated: Standard office equipment including computers, fax machines, copiers, printers, telephones, etc.

Work Environment: Work requires hand dexterity for office machine operation, stooping and bending to files and supplies, mobility to complete errands, or sitting for extended periods of time. Occasionally lifting files or paper weighing up to 20 pounds. Occasionally work environment may be very stressful.

Mental/Physical Requirements: Normal office environment. May view computer screens for long periods of time. Occasional evening or weekend work.
