Connecticut State Dental Association - CSDA is Hiring a Finance Manager Near Southington, CT

Performs accounting functions and provides financial information for the non-profit, membership association. Responsibilities include overall recording and maintenance activities concerned with accounts payable and receivable, payroll, and journal entries, cash control management and monthly bank reconciliations of related funds. Ensure all activities and entries are within generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP). Responsible for internal reporting and analysis of monthly financial statements. Serve as point person to CPA firm for annual audit/review. QuickBooks required. Salesforce experience a bonus.

EDUCATION AND WORK EXPERIENCE

College degree with experience in accounting or finance. Degree requirements can be substituted with equivalent practical experience.

SKILLS AND ABILITIES

  • Proficient with MS Excel and QuickBooks.
  • Understanding of US GAAP
  • Demonstrated understanding of financial systems, data, financial controls and financial reports.
  • Experience preparing financial reports.
  • Able to work in a cooperative and supportive manner in all dealings with other staff members, Association members, and all business contacts.
  • Well organized and strong detail oriented, with good problem-solving skills.
  • Good writing and interpersonal communication skills required.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $60,000.00 per year
