Night Auditors are responsible for assisting guests during check-in, check-out, and throughout their stay in order to ensure our guests have an enjoyable experience at the hotel. As a Night Auditor, you’ll be the person they rely on to handle transactions, offer local insights and anticipate every detail of a friction-free experience. You’ll also create the warm atmosphere that makes our guests feel at home in any location. Night Auditors must have a high level of professionalism, effective decision-making skills, and strong administrative skills. Night Auditors will be on their feet for most of the day. Night Auditors must have a flexible schedule and may be asked day shifts, weekends, or holidays when necessary.
Your day-to-day:
Be the warm welcome that kicks off a memorable guest experience. Make and manage guest bookings, up-selling opportunities and telling them about ways they may improve their stay. Handle cash and credit transactions, including counting the cash drawer at the beginning and end of your shift. Start every stay right by swiftly checking guests in and out. Stay one step ahead of guests’ needs – record and act on their preferences, and handle their messages, requests, questions, and concerns. Be a trusted contact for all guests. Help them with anything from billing issues to local knowledge, and loop in management when necessary. Take pride in your appearance and place as a brand ambassador. Make sure the lobby and front desk area remain clean at all times. Communicate with housekeeping about late check-outs and room availability Complete general reporting and administrative duties during the shift. Ensure all end-of-day activities have been successfully completed. Act with honestly and integrity at all times throughout your job duties. Jump into other ad-hoc duties when your colleagues need your help. Must follow and complete daily checklist provided by the General Manager.
