Night Auditors are responsible for assisting guests during check-in, check-out, and throughout their stay in order to ensure our guests have an enjoyable experience at the hotel. As a Night Auditor, you’ll be the person they rely on to handle transactions, offer local insights and anticipate every detail of a friction-free experience. You’ll also create the warm atmosphere that makes our guests feel at home in any location. Night Auditors must have a high level of professionalism, effective decision-making skills, and strong administrative skills. Night Auditors will be on their feet for most of the day. Night Auditors must have a flexible schedule and may be asked day shifts, weekends, or holidays when necessary.

Your day-to-day:

 Be the warm welcome that kicks off a memorable guest experience.  Make and manage guest bookings, up-selling opportunities and telling them about ways they may improve their stay.  Handle cash and credit transactions, including counting the cash drawer at the beginning and end of your shift.  Start every stay right by swiftly checking guests in and out.  Stay one step ahead of guests’ needs – record and act on their preferences, and handle their messages, requests, questions, and concerns.  Be a trusted contact for all guests. Help them with anything from billing issues to local knowledge, and loop in management when necessary.  Take pride in your appearance and place as a brand ambassador.  Make sure the lobby and front desk area remain clean at all times.  Communicate with housekeeping about late check-outs and room availability  Complete general reporting and administrative duties during the shift.  Ensure all end-of-day activities have been successfully completed.  Act with honestly and integrity at all times throughout your job duties.  Jump into other ad-hoc duties when your colleagues need your help.  Must follow and complete daily checklist provided by the General Manager.
