Miles Farmers Market, a family-owned and operated business, has been a leader within the Gourmet Grocery Industry for over 50 Years! At Miles Farmers Market our staff members are more than an ID Number or a set of hands, they are a part of our Family! Our passionate and hardworking employees are given the opportunity to learn and grow from daily experiences with customers, senior staff members and other professionals within the food industry in order to become more effective, knowledgeable and contributing members of our staff.
Applicants for the clerk position need only two things to apply -- reliability and a great attitude! Our service clerks are the face of our company that ensure our customers get everything they need. This position is a full time job (5 days per week) with a starting pay of $16/hour and does require weekend and holiday hours. (We are closed on Thanksgiving, Christmas, New Year’s Day and Easter have shortened hours on the summer holidays). Overtime opportunities are available for motivated individuals that want to maximize their earning potential. Part time applicants are welcome. We are extremely fair and competitive with wages being a family-owned business and we like to reward the people who help out Miles Farmers Market the most! Our employees are also given the chance to move up within the company as they display the necessary skills and passion needed for the desired position!
While previous customer service or food experience is definitely a plus, it is not required. We are willing and able to train individuals who show the desire to learn and listen from our veteran staff. We have many people in this position that have been with us for a long time and enjoy stable, reliable employment that has many benefits.
