Job Summary:

Job Duties:
  • Develop and implement effective recruitment strategies to attract top talent in the food manufacturing industry.
  • Foster a positive work environment by promoting employee engagement, addressing concerns, and ensuring fair application of policies.
  • Identify training needs and design programs to enhance job knowledge, safety protocols, and regulatory compliance.
  • Administer competitive compensation and benefits programs aligned with industry benchmarks.
  • Implement performance appraisal processes, set goals, and develop metrics for manufacturing roles.
  • Develop and update HR policies in compliance with labor laws, regulations, and industry-specific requirements.
  • Oversee safety, wellness, and environmental initiatives, promoting a safe and healthy work environment.
  • Manage workers' compensation processes, from incident reporting to claim resolution.
  • Maintain accurate employee records, generate reports, and analyze HR data for decision-making.
  • Manage end-to-end payroll processes, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and compliance.
  • Contribute to strategic planning efforts, aligning HR initiatives with organizational goals and manufacturing objectives.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field (Master's degree preferred).
  • 7 years of experience in human resources management, with a focus on the food manufacturing industry.
  • Strong knowledge of employment laws, regulations, and industry best practices.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with diverse teams and departments.
  • HR certification (e.g., PHR, SPHR) is advantageous.
  • In-depth knowledge of food safety regulations, Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), and industry-specific compliance requirements.
  • Strong understanding of production processes and the ability to align HR strategies with manufacturing objectives.
