Description:
This position provides essential support to Malloy by conducting legal research, drafting documents, and assisting with project management. This position is open due to growth, and you will work closely with the sales team and customer service staff.
· Assisting in document drafting and review of contracts of legal documents.
· Researching legal issues, laws, regulations, and statutes relevant to ongoing case management.
· Providing administrative support to sales representatives, including scheduling meetings, preparing contracts, and managing documents, evidence, briefs, and appendices.
· Managing multiple contracts and customers with tight deadlines.
· Communicating with customers, coworkers, and other parties involved with legal matters to gather information or provide updates.
· Perform other functions as necessary.
· Previous 2-3 years of paralegal experience preferred, particularly with more senior or specialized positions.
· Strong interpersonal and communication skills with keen attention to detail.
· Excellent time management to balance numerous projects and meet competing deadlines.
· Enjoyment of working in a highly collaborative environment.
· Microsoft Office proficiency and relevant legal software is typically expected.
