This a great opportunity for someone who wants to grow to a bigger role in the future.Responsibilities:• Prepare month-end journal entries and financial reports in a timely manner• Analyze monthly product line performance and compare it to the plan• Prepare annual budgets and periodic forecasts• Evaluate the adequacy of reserves for both inventory and warranty• Review inventory transactions before they are posted to the general ledger• Maintain and update the standard cost file• Gather product cost data for customer pricing decisions• Review purchase expenditure requests and ensure they meet company policies• Administer product group, part class, and general ledger posting control tables• Assist with physical inventories, including setting up count entry file• Answer operations personnel questions on how to properly handle transactions within the ERP system• Prepare inventory capitalization schedules• Collaborate with supply chain operations to ensure smooth flow of operations.
