Holy Cross Health is Hiring a Dialysis Nurse (RN) Near Silver Spring, MD

We are seeking a skilled Dialysis Nurse (RN) to join our team at Holy Cross Health!

As a Dialysis Nurse (RN), you will provide dialytic therapy to patients with acute renal failure or end-stage renal disease (ESRD) and will work closely with the multidisciplinary team to support outpatient hemodialysis on-site.

Responsibilities:
- Work with patients that have: Chronic Kidney Disease (CKD), traumatic injury to the kidney(s) and/or Chronic Heart Disease.
- Work closely with our multidisciplinary team of nephrologists, dietitians and social workers.
- Educate patients about their disease, diet and medications.
- Complete pre and post treatment physical assessments; documenting as required.
- Monitor patients' lab results and adjust dialysis medications as needed per physician order.
- Participate as a member of the team in all required patient assessment and care planning.

Qualifications:
- Graduation from an accredited nursing program ADN; BSN or MSN preferred.
- Current licensure by the Maryland State Board of Nursing or Compact State RN.
- BLS certification required; additional life support training as applicable to unit requirements.
- Minimum 1 year of current Dialysis experience required.
