Responsibilities: Work with patients that have: Chronic Kidney Disease (CKD), Traumatic Injury to the Kidney to Chronic Heart Disease Work closely with our multidisciplinary team of nephrologists, dietitian and social workers to support patients Educating patients about their disease, their diet and their medications Complete pre and post treatment physical assessments, documenting as required. Monitor patients’ lab results and adjust dialysis medications as needed per physician order Participate as a member of the Interdisciplinary team in all required patient assessment and care planning activities. What you will need: One or more years of current dialysis experience required Graduation from an accredited nursing program ADN; basic professional nursing degree (BSN or MSN) preferred. Current licensure by the Maryland State Board of Nursing or Compact State as a Registered Nurse. BLS certification; additional Life Support training as applicable to unit requirements.
