Med Tech Supervisor (LPN or Certified Caregiver)

Via Elegante Assisted Living and Memory Care is the premier provider of Assisted Living and Memory Care services in Southern Arizona. Family-owned and operated since 2003, Via Elegante is a growing company comprised of healthcare professionals who enjoy working in a supportive and rewarding environment. We are currently seeking LPN and Certified Caregivers to join our team of healthcare professionals.

Key Responsibilities:

Personal Care and Wellness:

• Provide compassionate assistance to residents, ensuring respect for their dignity, fostering independence, and honoring their choices.
• Recognize and nurture the unique spiritual, social, recreational, emotional, and physical needs of everyone in our care.
• Perform consistent check-ins with residents to assess their well-being, monitor conditions, and proactively address their needs.

Health Monitoring and Support:

• Conduct and document routine health assessments including temperature, pulse, respiration, blood pressure, weight, and blood glucose levels as indicated.
• Offer support for toileting needs and incontinence care, including management of colostomies and catheters when required.
• Aid in maintaining residents’ mobility and safety during transfers, utilizing assistive devices as necessary for their comfort and support.

Assistance with Activities of Daily Living:

• Assist residents with personal hygiene tasks such as bathing, dressing, and grooming to maintain their comfort.
• Help non-ambulatory residents with frequent repositioning and provide interventions to prevent skin complications and enhance overall well-being.
• Support residents at the end of life with comprehensive comfort care, including pain management, hygiene upkeep, and emotional support to ensure peace and dignity.

Nutritional Care and Medication Management:

• Assist residents with eating, accommodating special dietary needs including the use of feeding tubes as applicable.
• Monitor residents’ general intake of food and fluids as well as their output to ensure proper nutrition and hydration.

Qualifications:

• Valid Arizona Caregiver Certification
• Valid Fingerprint Clearance Card
• Valid in-person CPR Certification
• Valid First Aid certification
• Clear background check and drug screening
• Appropriate reference checks
• Proof of Negative TB Test (can be provided by Via Elegante)
• Strong problem-solving skills.

Available Shifts:

Day Shift

• Sunday-Wednesday: 7a-7:30p
• Thursday-Saturday: 7a-:30p

Night Shift

• Sunday-Tuesday or Wednesday: 7p-7:30a
• Wednesday or Thursday-Saturday: 7p-7:30a
