Pay Range: $22 - $30/hour. Employee benefits include, but are not limited to, health insurance (medical, dental, vision), 401(k) plan, and paid sick leave (depending on work location).
Key Responsibilities:
- Responsible for the day to day activities: Review customer tax exemption certificates received from customers.
- Validate information is correct on the certificate and process exemption within the billing platform. Issue tax credits as needed for exempt customers.
- Communicate verbally and/or electronically with internal and external customers regarding tax questions on customer accounts.
- Assist with tax audits and internal reviews to ensure accuracy of customer exempt status and availability of exemption certificates in various billing platforms.
- Request missing exemption certificates when necessary.
- Assist with various Tax Department tasks.
