We are currently looking for a experienced Tax Manager with expertise in ASC 740 and Income Tax to join a fast-growing organization. The Tax Manager will oversee the company’s taxation processes and ensure we comply with all regulations. Your in-depth understanding and experience in ASC 740 accounting and income tax will play a significant role in managing the company's tax strategies and obligations. This is a hybrid position, and requires two days per week onsite in Seattle. Responsibilities: 1. Review the company’s income tax returns and ensure compliance with both state and federal laws. 2. Oversee, prepare, and review ASC 740 tax provisions and related disclosures. 3. Lead the management of tax audits by organizing records and ensuring all documentation is available. 4. Communicate with stakeholders about tax matters and provide expert advice as required. 5. Coordinate with the accounting team to ensure accurate financial reporting. 6. Maintain and update the company’s tax databases. 7. Stay abreast with the latest trends and changes in the field of tax accounting. 8. Lead and mentor a team of entry level tax accountants, providing detail oriented development guidance and support. 9. Research and implement tax optimization strategies. 10. Assist with M& A activity including due diligence and integration processes.
