Foot & Ankle Specialists of New Jersey is Hiring a Medical Assistant Near Scotch Plains, NJ

Come join a leader in foot and ankle care in New Jersey! As a Medical Assistant, you will be responsible for providing administrative support to ensure efficient operation of the medical office. You will support doctors and patients through a variety of tasks related to patient care management, organization and communication. Responsibilities:
  • Interviewing patients and document basic medical history.
  • Organizing and scheduling appointments into EMR (Athena).
  • Taking vitals as part of patient intake.
  • Assisting with basic office procedures, injections.
  • Ensure that all instruments are processed and labeled correctly.
  • Produce and distribute correspondence memos, letters, faxes and forms.
  • Accurately complete requisition forms and lab/imaging forms.
  • Prepare and clean treatment rooms and medical instruments.
Requirements:
  • Prior experience preferred however no experience warranted. 
  • Excellent time management skills and ability to multi-task and prioritize work.
  • Social perceptiveness and service oriented.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong organizational and planning skills.
  • Proficiency in MS Office and patient management software, such as Athena is a plus.
