Job Description

Nott Company is a leading supplier of engineering solutions and integrated processes in the industrial, fluid power, and engineered materials markets. We are currently looking for Customer Service Representative 1 for our Mobile Fluid Power Division located in Savage, MN.

What will you be responsible for?

• Process all incoming orders in a timely manner from receipt of order through verifying product availability, pricing, terms, credit status, order entry and release.
• Provide basic technical product information to customers.
• Provide timely and efficient assistance to customers in resolving problems including product returns; identify and recommend process improvements that will prevent further problems.
• Assist outside sales representatives with quotation process.
• Monitor the status of open customer purchase orders; expedite and/or reschedule as necessary, communicating problem areas to customer.
• Participate in processes and programs aimed at continuous improvement and safety.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

What will you need?

• Business and/or technical degree preferred; two-year Fluid Power degree desirable
• Minimum 2 yearscustomer service experience or equivalent education or degree
• Excellent communication skills
• Strong mechanical and sales aptitude
• Ability to handle multiple tasks
• Good computer skills, including Outlook, Word and Excel

• Compensation

- Base salary range $48,000-$55,000 per year

-Profit participation payout each quarter based on company profitability.

-Annual company contribution to your ESOP (Employee Stock Ownership Plan) retirement account.
