Job Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated Behavior Technician to join our team. The Behavior Technician will work with individuals with developmental disabilities or autism, implementing behavior management techniques and care plans to support their needs.
Responsibilities:
- Implement behavior intervention plans under the supervision of a Board-Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA)
- Provide direct patient care and support in accordance with care plans
- Document patient progress and behavioral data accurately and in a timely manner
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to ensure coordinated and effective care
- Maintain confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA guidelines
- Utilize principles of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) to support individuals' progress
Qualifications:
-Must have RBT Certification
- Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities or autism preferred
- Knowledge of behavior management techniques and strategies
- Familiarity with medical documentation and care plans
- Understanding of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) principles
- Ability to work effectively with individuals with diverse needs and backgrounds
