SummaryNatron seeks a Controller with a desire to build out a world-class accounting team in a fast-growing manufacturing and technology development environment.
This person will be a key leader in supporting the CFO and other Company leadership as the company experiencing hyper growth towards a path of profitability. They will build out an accounting team over time and help manage reporting, analytics, and communications with investors, lenders, and other partners.
Role And Responsibilities

Role And Responsibilities
- Support a growing Finance and Accounting function to build a best-in-class team and accounting infrastructure
- Design, implement, and maintain effective accounting policies, procedures and controls
- Provide technical accounting subject matter expertise on the treatment of accounting transactions and related financial reporting requirements
- Manage the monthly, quarterly, and annual accounting close process
- Manage treasury accounts across US and European treasury partners
- Support the production and preparation of financial information required for filings of the Company’s financials with external stakeholders
- Lead the execution of year-end audit procedures in partnership with independent auditors
- Evaluate the accounting and financial reporting impact of operational decisions
- Work with the CFO and operations executives to design and implement new systems and modules to assist with timely and accurate accounting closes
- Provide support and analysis to the business planning process on accounting related matters
- Manage all relevant tax preparation and filings internally and with partners
- Hire, train, and mentor additional accounting staff members
- Support ad hoc projects
- Degree in accounting or finance as well as CPA.
- Minimum of eight years’ experience in accounting/audit. Ideal candidates will have both big four/regional audit experience as well as in-house accounting experience.
- Deep and broad systems experience: Netsuite experience is a preferred requirement and candidates should have broad experience across the implementation, maintenance and integration of various third-party systems in accounting/ERP, CRM, Stock Administration, AP/Invoicing, AR automation, tax and other systems.
- Significant manufacturing, inventory, and cost accounting experience.
- Strong analytical skills, accuracy, and attention-to-detail are a must.
- Ability to effectively interact with senior management and functional departments managers.
- International consolidation, systems and general accounting experience.
- Experience interacting with private and public investors is a plus.
- Experience with business process improvement techniques.
- Ability to mine, manipulate, and analyze large quantities of data.
