Carr Winery, a small production winery in Santa Barbara County since 1999, is looking to hire a Tasting Room Manager for the Santa Barbara location. Candidates must be responsible, friendly, professional, and outgoing with a love for wine.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Manage the day-to-day operation of the tasting room and guest experience at Carr Winery in downtown Santa Barbara.
- Provide guests with a knowledgeable and enjoyable experience.
- Assist in the operational supervision and quality performance of the tasting room including the management and coordination of tasting room staff.
- Work a flexible schedule to meet the needs of the business, including evening and weekend shifts
- Assist with wine club and shipping logistics
- Plan and coordinate tasting room events and large group visits
- Represent winery at outside functions as needed

QUALIFICATIONS:
- Minimum of 2 year winery or restaurant/hospitality management.
- Wine Savvy with a passion for fine wine, sales and all other aspects of the wine industry
- Excellent hospitality, sales, and organizational skills.
- Experience in wine sales (1-2 years minimum preferred)
- Strong proficiency using Mac Computers including MS Word and Excel, Adobe Illustrator, and POS System.
- Professional, creative, friendly, fun and outgoing
- Good written and oral communication skills with strong attention to detail.
- Highly customer service oriented.
- Demonstrated capability to interface and maintain effective relationships with all level of employees in a team-oriented environment.
- Must be available and willing to work evenings and weekends.
- Ability to stand on one's feet for extended periods of time.
- Must be able to lift and move 50 lbs.

$20 - $25 starting hourly rate (DOE) plus tips, bonuses, and paid health insurance
