**Job Summary:** We are seeking a dedicated Kennel Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for working with animals and ensuring their well-being. This position involves providing care and support to animals in a kennel environment. **Duties:** - Feed, water, and monitor the well-being of animals in the kennel - Clean and sanitize kennels, cages, and animal living areas - Walk dogs and provide exercise opportunities - Administer medications as directed by veterinary staff - Assist with bathing and grooming of animals - Monitor animal behavior and report any concerns to supervisory staff - Maintain accurate records of animal care and behavior **Qualifications:** - Previous experience in a similar role is preferred - Knowledge of animal handling techniques - Ability to work well in a team environment - Strong communication skills with pet owners and veterinary staff - Comfortable with animal restraint and handling - Certification in veterinary assistance or related field is a plus This position offers the opportunity to work closely with animals in a caring environment.
