Cross Resource Group is Hiring an Engineering Tech Near San Antonio, TX
Support fabrication, assembly and test avionics electronic systems to include assembly and disassembly of wiring cables, Line Replaceable Units (LRUs) and Circuit Card Assemblies (CCAs). Able to troubleshoot and fix CCA's. Must have IPC certification or recent soldering experience. Other duties as assigned.
Required Education, Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
- HS Diploma or equivalent
- 2 years minimum of experience
- Must have experience with Microsoft Windows, MS Word
- Must have test equipment operation experience
- Must have experience with test equipment operations such as DMM, oscilloscope and Automatic Test Equipment (ATE).
- Must be able to handle and test delicate and ESD sensitive circuit card assemblies.
- Able to interpret engineering schematics and assembly drawings
- Required to interface with Quality Assurance personnel and maintain required AS9100D records
- Must have good organizational and troubleshooting skills and be able to work alone or with a team with minimal supervision
- Soldering experience on printed wiring assemblies, cables, harnesses is required
- Previous NASA certifications or IPC-J-STD_001 training preferred
- Must be able to work indoors and outdoors and left 50 lbs unassisted
- Must be a US Citizen
- MVR is required due to driving a golf cart on campus
