Core Functions:

  • Conduct fact finding process for HR and employee relations issues, under guidance of HR Business Partners, including drafting fact-finding plan, conducting employee interviews; analyzing data from various internal systems; case adjudication; and production of completed fact finding documentation.
  • Independently manages assigned casework, bringing fact finding to closure rapidly and definitively, under guidance of HR Business Partners.
  • Identify and analyze appropriate data in order to calibrate cases with the team and ensures consistency in fact finding process and resolutions.
  • Analyze casework trends and collaborates with HR Business Partners to produce strategic recommendations to HR and the business to proactively address and mitigate systemic issues.
  • Consult and collaborate with HR Business Partners, Corporate Integrity, Legal, and other relevant parties on complex employee fact finding processes.
  • Continually monitor the “pulse” of employees within assigned departments and collaborates with the HR Business Partner team to proactively maintain positive employee relations.

Background/Expertise:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, Human Resources, or a related field required; OR Minimum of five (5) years of relevant experience, in lieu of a degree.
  • Minimum of three (3) years of relevant experience, required.
  • Experience in conducting fact finding, including employee interviews, data analysis, and production of documentation preferred.
  • Experience supporting hourly employee client groups preferred.
  • Leadership Training experience preferred.
  • Experience in a health care environment desirable.
  • SPHR/PHR or SHRM-CP/SHRM-SCP certification preferred.
