This is a full-time position with a typical schedule of Monday – Friday, 8-hour shifts between the hours of 6am-6pm. The pay is $15 – 17 per hour depending upon experience and qualifications. This position is onsite at our center located: 4513 Neptune Rd, Saint Cloud FL, 34769. 
The Infant Teacher develops a cohesive teaching team, coordinates the curriculum, and manages the day-to-day operational activities of the classroom while implementing a curriculum that is appropriate for infants. The teacher in this role should be high energy and able to work well with staff, students, and parents. You’ll have the opportunity to be a serve as a model and mentor, leader in the classroom, champion a team environment, and provide fun-filled learning opportunities while making a positive impact on the lives of our infants.
What You’ll Do: 
• Manage adherence to quality standards in accordance with both center’s vision and state and local / state requirements 
• Excellent leadership, organizational, and interpersonal skills 
• Maintain personal professional development plan to ensure continuous quality improvement 
• Ability to work well with others (staff, children, and parents) and to foster a team environment. 
• A strong understanding of child development and appropriate engagement strategies. 
• Develop a careful and creative program suitable for preschool children 
• Encourage children to develop a community-spirited classroom through sharing, caring and self-regulation 
• Develop a well-balanced schedule of activities including learning, playing, diapering, eating, and napping
What We Need from You: 
• Associates Degree in Early Childhood Education or related field of study
• DCF 45 hours and CDA required 
• Minimum of 2-3 years of professional early childhood education
• Must clear a full level II DCF background check 
• Excellent organizational and interpersonal skills, oral and written communication skills, and basic computer skills 
• Strong understanding of children's cognitive, social, emotional, and physical development to ensure a safe and stimulating classroom environment where students are engaged and encouraged to succeed 
• Effective in communicating with both students and adults to meet the needs of the children, effectively guide teacher assistants, and resolve parental concerns 
• Demonstrate empathy and patience in difficult situations while being Cheerful, enthusiastic, and engaging in the workplace
