Qualifications of Generator Service Technicia n :
- Experience of over 3 years in servicing generators with capacities ranging from 8.5kw to 3500kw
- Preferred EGSA Certification
- Proficient understanding of electrical systems, circuitry, and diesel engines
- Skilled in computer operations and software, including Microsoft Office Suite
Responsibilities of Generator Service Technician :
- Service, repair, modify, diagnose, and rebuild standby power generators and fire pump drivers
- Conduct failure analysis, emergency field service, and repairs for customers
- Service a range of other brands of power generation equipment
- Operate, drive, and maintain company service trucks, and manage parts inventory on the truck
- Check and repair all supporting systems including fuel, cooling, and electrical systems
- Operate load banks and record instrumentation data
