Summary:
The role of the Human Resources Compensation Analyst includes strategically designing, developing, and implementing Covenant pay and retirement systems. They work closely with external systems consultants, actuaries, payroll, information systems, leadership, and staff. This person prepares communications and coordinates training on system changes and related policies/procedures. The Human Resources Compensation Analyst demonstrates excellent customer service. They uphold the standards contained in the Vision, Mission and Values of Covenant, and commits to Keeping our Promise of Caring.
Responsibilities:
Models Covenant’s Mission, Vision and Values of keeping our Promise of Caring and Commitment to Service
Examine trends and new approaches for pay systems
Advocate for system changes and updates
Decide on benchmarks and best match markets
Monitor annual and special compensation market reviews
Design, update and interpret systems, policies and procedures
Prepare and coordinate communications to educate employees regarding Covenant’s pay system
Create surveys for comparative data research, analyze data and make recommendations
Research and recommend special programs of incentive compensation
Oversee hospital’s retirement and TSA programs including communication with vendors and actuaries
Keep policies and procedures updated
Plan education to keep employees informed and up to date
Coordinate communication programs for employees
Accountable for quality and compliance
Other information:
Education
Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, Human Resources, or related field
Skills
Demonstrates excellent customer service skills
Computer proficiency, including Microsoft Office
Excellent oral and written communication skills
Demonstrated organizational skills
Demonstrated analytical, technical, and interpretive skills
Experience
Minimum of 2 years of business or human resources experience required
Experience working with compensation administration or other analyst role, preferred
Knowledge of standard office equipment
Sound judgment in handling confidential or sensitive issues and material
Project a positive and energetic image
Ability to speak in public
