Middle East Broadcasting Networks is Hiring a Studio Assistant Near Springfield, VA
DUTIES/ RESPONSIBILITIES: (Essential Functions: Duties and responsibilities noted with bullets are considered to be the essential functions of the job)
- Understands and executes all functions of the Control Room Teleprompter position, the Control Room Playback position, and the Control Room Graphics position. This includes a technical understanding of the teleprompter, playback and graphics systems, and the ability to troubleshoot technical issues as they arise.
- Works effectively in a fast-paced control room environment with anchors, directors, producers for both live news and taped programming.
- Provides support to other positions in the control room and studio, as needed.
- Provides support to a 24x7 facility, may require the ability to work various shifts, weekends, including holidays.
- The incumbent may be asked to perform additional duties and take on other responsibilities as dictated by events and circumstances.
- 2 years of professional work experience.
- Demonstrated verbal and written communication skills in English and Arabic.
- Computer proficiency in Windows base software programs.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends.
