Comfort Keepers of Roswell is Hiring a Human Resources Coordinator Near Roswell, NM

JOB SUMMARY:

Under the general supervision of the Human Resource Director, the Human Resources Coordinator will research, develop, and implement effective recruiting and staffing strategies to attract a diverse pool of qualified and best-fit candidates for Comfort KeepersĀ®. This position will work towards growing a dynamic online presence as an employer. In addition, the Human Resources Coordinator will assist in Human Resources operations within the department.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

  • Develops, facilitates, and implements all phases of the recruitment process.
  • Collaborates with leadership to identify and draft detailed and accurate job descriptions, advertisements, and hiring criteria.
  • Assists and supports the caregiver hiring process to include interviewing, testing, background screens and reference validation. Schedules additional hiring appointments as needed.
  • Assist with orientation for new Caregivers.
  • Identifies and implements efficient and effective recruiting methods and strategies based on the available role, industry standards, and the needs of the organization.
  • Assists with job posting and advertisement processes.
  • Ensures compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws, regulations, and company policies.
  • Attends and participates in college job fairs and recruiting sessions.
  • Perform difficult and highly complex technical administrative work in support of a wide range of operations, programs and/or projects within the Human Resources Department responsibilities.
  • Maintains files in accordance with company policy and guidelines.
  • Compiles data from personnel, payroll, and computer records to prepare monthly reports.
  • Set up, maintain, and track various caregiver training requirements.
  • Assists and supports the planning and coordination of various caregivers and office staff holiday and recognition events.
  • Performs various tasks related to the employee life cycle.
  • On call rotation to dispatch caregiver coverage as assigned.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, & ABILITIES:

  • Ability to engage, screen, interview, and hire the best fit for Comfort KeepersĀ®.
  • Ability to create and implement sourcing strategies for recruitment for a variety of roles.
  • Proactive and independent with the ability to take initiative.
  • Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.
  • Ability to obtain knowledge with laws, regulations, and best practices applicable to employment law, hiring, and recruitment.
  • Proficient with or the ability to quickly learn applicant-tracking software or other recruitment systems.
  • Ability to learn and perform all aspects of the Human Resources Department.
  • Develop new insights into situations and apply innovative solutions to make improvements.
  • Analyze situations carefully and adopt effective courses of action.
  • Communicate effectively, both orally and in writing.
  • Establish and maintain effective working relationships, including networking relationships for the purpose of recruiting.
  • Excellent computer skills in a Microsoft Windows environment. Must include Excel and demonstrated skills in database management and record keeping.
  • Effective oral and written communication.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills.
  • Evidence of the practice of a high level of confidentiality.
  • Excellent organizational skills.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

  • High School diploma or equivalent required.
  • Associate degree in business or related field preferred.
  • Valid drivers license and vehicle insurance required.
  • Two years of marketing, sales, or recruiting experience is required.
  • Two years of experience in the healthcare field and/or Human Resource experience preferred.
  • Bilingual preferred.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $22.00 - $24.00 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 40 per week
