Overview
The Customer Development Manager provides Insight & Analytic support to our retail customers, and will assist in identifying opportunities and making recommendations that deliver category and customer growth.
Primary Responsibilities
Minimum Qualifications
- Draw club-specific planograms, following retailer merchandising rules, using Blue Yonder Perform other job-related duties as assigned
- Bachelor s Degree and four years of experience or equivalent education and related experience
- Experience with category management principles, syndicated data, shopper / consumer insights, and space management principles and software (Blue Yonder)
- A demonstrated high-level understanding of Customer Development / Category Management processes and practices along with the ability to collaborate with Sam's Club to deliver insights and recommendations within six key domains : Macro Level, Retailer & Market, Consumer, Shopper, 4 Ps (Product / Assortment, Placement / Merchandising, Promotion, Pricing) and Operational
- Proficiency with the Microsoft suite of products, Spectra, Nielsen, and MADRID Previous experience with Sam's Club or adult beverage strongly preferred
Physical Demands
- Physical demands include a considerable amount of time sitting and typing / keyboarding or using a computer (e.g., keyboard, mouse, and monitor)
- Physical demands with activity or condition may occasionally include walking, bending, reaching, standing, and stooping May require occasional lifting / lowering, pushing, carrying, or pulling up to 20lbs
