We are a new opening coming to Rocky River at the end of May. With a New American vibe influenced by Head Chef who has spent the last 6 years in New York working under some of the countries best chefs, and throughout Europe. The bar program will be modern with a seasonal cocktail menu and diverse and interesting wine list.

Responsibilities:

The main responsibility for this position is to run and oversee the bar and beverage program on a daily basis.

Key Requirements:

Experience in full-service bar and restaurant is desired.

Ability to work well under pressure, be professional, efficient, detail-oriented, and courteous.

Solid communication skills with all team members including owners, managers, BOH and hourly employees.

Flexible schedule working 5 days a week including lunch, evening and late nights.

Knowledge of all the drinks and components on the menu.

In depth knowledge of classic cocktails and basic spirit and wine knowledge is a must.

Job Responsibilities:

Stock control of the bar. Ordering, par levels and rotation.

Cleanliness and presentation upkeep of the bar.

Must obtain payment for goods by hearing and clearly recording a guests food order. It is also important that they clarify menu questions and ensure the guest is satisfied. Finally ensure that the order is entered correctly into the POS system and a ticket is sent to the back of house (kitchen).
Maintains checkout operations by following policies and procedures; reporting needed changes.
Maintains safe and clean working environment by complying with company policies and state guidelines and laws.

Oversee dining room, Bar, and all service functions to provide our guests with an impressive and memorable dining experience.

Monitor all employees, not just the bar team and that they are following company protocol and rules.

Knowledge and Experience in training and development.

Competent in Toast and Open table is a plus.

Competent in batching and mass-producing drinks.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $50,000.00 - $58,000.00 per year
