Job Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Server to join our team. As a Server, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and ensuring a positive dining experience for our guests. Your main duties will include taking orders, delivering food and beverages, and ensuring guest satisfaction.
Duties:
- Present menus and provide detailed information about the dishes and beverages
- Take accurate food and drink orders from guests
- Deliver food and beverages to tables in a timely manner
- Ensure guest satisfaction by promptly addressing any concerns or special requests
- Upsell additional items, such as desserts or specialty drinks, to enhance the dining experience
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure accurate order preparation and timely delivery
- Process payments using the POS system
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in dining areas
- Assist with opening and closing duties as needed
Skills:
- Strong guest service skills with a friendly and approachable demeanor
- Previous experience in the food industry is preferred
- Familiarity with OpenTable or other reservation systems is a plus
- Knowledge of food safety regulations and practices
- Ability to upsell and promote menu items effectively
- Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment
- Basic knowledge of kitchen operations and culinary terminology
- Proficiency in using POS systems for order processing and payment handling
- Ability to maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards
