Job Summary:
The Warranty Specialist plays a crucial role in ensuring customer satisfaction by managing warranty claims and providing exceptional service to our clients. This position requires a detail-oriented individual with strong problem-solving skills, excellent customer service abilities, and the ability to navigate and diffuse conflict effectively. The ideal candidate will possess exceptional phone etiquette, a positive attitude, and the ability to work efficiently in a high-volume call environment.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Handle inbound and outbound calls regarding warranty claims and inquiries.
2. Provide excellent customer service to address customer concerns and inquiries promptly and professionally.
3. Navigate and diffuse conflicts with dissatisfied customers, ensuring resolution and satisfaction.
4. Maintain a positive attitude and exhibit a 'go-getter' teamwork personality in all interactions.
5. Utilize scheduling background to manage and schedule warranty appointments efficiently.
6. Utilize Google Maps to map times and plot distances between appointments for effective scheduling.
7. Enter appointment details and relevant information into spreadsheets accurately.
8. Utilize roofing knowledge to understand and address warranty issues effectively (knowledge preferred but not required).
9. Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish is a significant plus, with at least basic Spanish skills preferred but not required
10. Collaborate with internal teams to ensure seamless communication and resolution of warranty issues.
11. Provide regular updates and reports on warranty claim status and resolution progress.
Qualifications:
1. High school diploma or equivalent; additional education or certifications in customer service or related fields preferred.
2. Proven experience in a customer service or call center environment, preferably handling high-volume calls.
3. Exceptional phone etiquette and communication skills.
4. Strong problem-solving abilities and conflict resolution skills.
5. Proficiency in using Google Maps and spreadsheet software for scheduling and data entry.
6. Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
7. Positive attitude and a strong commitment to delivering excellent service to customers.
8. Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
